Job Description
Develop wireless MAC software for Aperto Networks broadband wireless network products. Participate in all and lead in some phases of software development cycles. Collaborate with systems hardware and ASIC development groups to define product specifications. Help architect next generation networking technology. Provide technical leadership in instituting development tools infrastructure and methodology for software engineering group.

Required Skills/Experience
5-7 years direct experience in MAC network protocol development. Must have direct experiences with 'C' programming language, real time operating system, BSP and embedded system development required. Working knowledge of software/hardware partitioning expected. Team player; strong written and oral communications skills; highly motivated to work in a fast-paced start-up environment. BSCS or BSEE required.

Desired Skills
Experience with wireless network protocol 802.11, or 802.16 is highly desired. Understanding of network switching, LAN, management protocols, and network protocols such as TCP/IP, IGMP, RIP, and OSPF an added benefit. MSCS or MSEE desired.
